Is there an over the counter cream you can use for shingles?

I have found that good old Noxema, in the blue tub has amazing anesthesia effects. Have used it on HSV outbreaks as well as the old 'roids, with very satisfactory results. Was given that hint by another customer in a store.Is there an over the counter cream you can use for shingles?
Check with your local health food store......plenty of good natural treatments for most all ailments found there.Is there an over the counter cream you can use for shingles?
I doubt it. My mother had it around her ankles and only Vitamin B helped her. Pain pills were just too destructive for her.
