Acne scars help!!! Microderm abrasion vs. over the counter creams?

My acne has subsided, but i don't like the grainy looking scars and blemishes thats left on my skin. I tried proactiv solution, but it didn't work the way that i thought. Thinking about microderm abrasion instead. Any advice?Acne scars help!!! Microderm abrasion vs. over the counter creams?
at home microdermabrasion kits aren't as effective as the professional procedure. i highly recommend it, it worked really well on my old acne scars. they are almost gone now and so are my fine lines on the forehead and blemishes on the chin and cheeks.

you can use at home kits for maintenance, but best results come from at least 8 professional microdermabrasion sessions.

hope this helps.Acne scars help!!! Microderm abrasion vs. over the counter creams?
microdermabrasion mainly targets superficial dead skin layers and removes them.. this can be a little help for dark acne scars..

my 2 cents -

use a mild skin lightening soap (black licorice soap) and/or dermaline skin whitening cream to get rid of dark acne scars.. plus a high spf sunscreen to prevent further pigmentation because the sun is the no.1 cause of skin/spot darkening.

it's how i did it. :-)
