What creams that are over-the-counter should someone who take who has second-degree burns?

Second degree burns are very serious. I would only use what my Dr. or e.r. tells me to use and I have always heard that we shouldn't use any kind of cream, oil or other lubricant on our burns. You should check with a health professional. What creams that are over-the-counter should someone who take who has second-degree burns?
Try Cicaplast by LaRoche-Posay. It's available at the pharmacy (I actually bought it at the cosmetic counter). It's an epidermal recovery accelerator. The pharmacist recommended it to me for eczema and it's working well. It is kinda pricey, I paid $18 for 40ml but you really only need a tiny amount at a time.
