Do you know of a termite salve (cream) that kills fungus (supposedly better than over-the counter we use)?

(or something comprable in alternative medicine) My mom is looking for info on that which was on 20/20. Guy almost died of a deadly fungus and a salve made from something from termites killed the fungus. Grandfather is suffering from something similar on the foot.
