Does anyone know of a over the counter cream for yeast infection for a 1 year old baby girl?

PLAIN ';ORGANIC'; YOGURT,NOT just plain; PUT IT RIGHT ON THE AFFECTED AREA. THIS SHOULD REALLY MAKE A DIFFERENCE RIGHT AWAY.Its cold and that can be very soothing....I try to stay away from the commercial products because of the CHEMICALS in them that are really VERY BAD for YOU and YOUR CHILD especially your CHILD seeing their skin is so young and delicate plus NEW ALLERGIES are popping up all the time!! I hope you find this helpful as well as the sites and info listed below.I can tell you some horror stories about what has happened with my own family members from chemical overloads including what has happened to my own anatomy from NEW allergins,I NEVER had b4 7yrs ago..Feel free to email me if interested in talking further..These things as a parent you really need so you can be aware... For the HEALTH of you %26amp; your child.The Government doesn't care and really can't afford to.So we are exspendable.There are NO laws against the use of these chemicals and they think that if in tiny amounts there aren't any health issues but the thing is if the chemical is bad for ppl then it's bad there's NO GOOD IN BAD.Besides that think about all you consume and how much is in bottled water,processed foods,fast foods even city water let alone the pestisides put on fruits and veggies.You consume this mutiply all those small/tiny amounts and guess what you get?Think about that when you read the site on whats getting passed down to our children.Read whats really in McDonalds chicken nuggets that KIDS LOVE SO MUCH!Does anyone know of a over the counter cream for yeast infection for a 1 year old baby girl?

If it's yeast rash around the bum, you can buy Canesten..it's an anti-fungal cream for athlete's foot, but my pharmacist told me it would work great. And it did.


When you get a prescription for creams for baby's bums, canesten is usually the main ingredient and they add a couple more to it.


Go buy it. It's like 8 bucks for a little tube, but you'll see the difference within a couple hours. (you'll find it in the foot care aisle at the drugstore)

I don't believe there is such a thing for them that small. Take her to the doctor and if she truly does have a yeast infection he will prescribe a cream for her called Nystatin and you will apply it to the area 3 times a day until it's gone.
We talked to the pharmacist, and got lotrimin - well probably the generic Target lotrimin. This was for the diaper rash.
Please for the love of god take her to her doctor. If you can't get in take her to a walk in clinic. Anything but a do it yourself cure or do you not want to be a grandmother one day? We're talking about your daughter reproductive organs. This is serious
Over the counter yeast infection medication is too strong for a baby. You would be better going to a pediatrician and getting a prescription for the medicine! My daughter used to get them all the time and finally the doctor suggested we switch brands of diapers and once we did she hasn't had a yeast infection again! Good Luck!


PS my mother also suggests that feeding your daughter yogurt will help preventing yeast infections. They make yogurt for babies!
Lotrimin, my daughter had the same problem at this age. The dr said Lotrimin, and yes it is the antifungal treatment for athlete's foot but it get's rid of it in 2-3 days of constant use. Trust me
Make sure you also give her infant acidopholis to counter the yeast and antibiotics in her body.
When my daughter was 8 months old my pediatrician told me to try plain yogurt. It worked for us.
Desitin cream is over the counter. It can really help grown women with this problem and I always used it prevent and treat diaper rash. It is safe for babies. But I agree that a doctor is needed.
have you taken her to a doctor yet to confirm this?? if not...do that first

You should take her to the doctor and find out. How do you even know it's a yeast infection?
you should go to the doctor cause it seems kinda weird that a baby has yeast infection....and he/she should prescribe something safe for the baby.
The best thing to do would be to talk to or take her to the doctor. But you can always ask your pharmacist. If there is one thing I have learned from being a parent its to never assume something when it comes to your child.
