Will over the counter progesterone pills or cream work just as good a prescription to help during pregnancy?

I've never heard of OTC pills, but the cream isn't the way to go. Once it's open, it's going to lose a bit of its potency (like anything else) and it's hard to measure the exact same amount every time. I used progesterone suppositories and my doctor advised me to get them from the same pharmacy every time because the strength/recipe they use can vary from shop to shop.

Good luck! Will over the counter progesterone pills or cream work just as good a prescription to help during pregnancy?
If your doctor prescribed you something, it was for a reason. Take the prescription only, and don't use any over-the-counter medication of any sort without his or her approval. Be safe and good luck.
