Which acne over the counter cream works best?

Okay so I have a mild form of acne and I have black heads.


I hear that Pro Active is good, but I also hear that once you get started with it, you always need it.


Can someone who has used one of these products please tell me if they are good or not?

not really sure on the acne medicine but a good thing to get your face clean is baking soda add water with it and scrub away dont do it to many times a day tho bc it could dry out your face you can feel a difference after 1 use tho
I use something kind of like Pro Active called Acne Free...it's pretty much the same 3 step system and it works really well.





I've also always had good results from neutrogena and clean and clear products.





From Neutrogena I like the Liquid Neutrogena (it's the bright orange cleaser) and the clear pore cleanser/mask. and from clean and clear i love the acne spot advantage.





A good site to look at is drugstore.com it has pretty much ever skin care product in existence and users ratings.

Anything St. Ives. Make sure its a scrub though. I know you want a cream but the cleanser worked best for me.
You'll need it as long as you have acne. You don't get addicted to ProActive. Just the same as you would always need any acne cream. Don't listen and believe everything you hear!
Ive tried everything they have for acne and Proactiv worked the best for me. I love it.
until you know what is causing the acne, you can't treat it. try salicylic acid %26amp; see your dermatologist.
I've tried a lot of things (my acne use to be really bad) and Pro Active takes a long time to work. What really works for me is the Clean and Clear Persa-Gel maximum strength. It does dry your face out and you have to use it at least twice a day, but it works.
I use the clean and clear black head removal. It's a cream with little blue beads in it, it works great in the shower.

For black heads i always use an exfoliating scrub daily, my favorite is St. Ives Blemish fighting apricot exfoliate scrub you find it in the acne aisle at any wal-mart,riteaid, ect.. It cleans out clogged pores and leaves skin smooth and soft. Also i love clean and clear acne spot treatment when i combine these 2 with a good cleanser and use them all daily i have almost no acne issues except right before my period, and lets face it i don't think any amount of acne products could fight the pre-period break outs. heres some links to the products so you can see what they look like.
